As more and more of our aging population develops dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other memory related issues, the need for dedicated memory care grows. We are committed to serving the members of our community with care that is sensitive to their memory needs while empowering them to live the best life possible.
Our Alzheimer’s care unit (ACU) offers a nurturing setting for memory impaired individuals. Specially trained Alzheimer’s and dementia nurses provide tailored assistance, offering residents and their families complete peace of mind. We’ve created an enriching environment with daily activities and specialized cognitive programming, including stimulating activities for those residents with higher functioning memory-impairment. Our dementia-focused therapies, which include art, music, gardening, and pet therapy, engage residents and encourage them to experience the things they love about life. And our enclosed courtyard allows our residents to safely enjoy some fresh air without the risk of wandering off.
We are proud to provide seniors and their families with a caring and supportive environment where their every physical and emotional need is considered. From complex medical needs to personal care, our compassionate staff takes care of everything.
We also offer our residents’ loved ones vital encouragement and support at our monthly family support meetings.
